Saturday, October 15th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Are you too busy working during the week to knock out your volunteer hours at ICS? Come join us at one of two planned weekend work days at the school this year. We would love to see some of our ICS families join our volunteers from Agnes Scott on our campus to take care of general clean up tasks around the school. There will also be jobs that the kids can help take care of! We hope to see as many people on campus as possible! IPTSO will be hosting a potluck at school so you can grab a bite as you help. Here are a few of the things that need to be done around the school on Saturday, but more are being added as teachers submit requests:
Pressure washing sidewalks
Replacing ceiling tiles
Tossing unneeded items from the stage
Tossing unneeded items from the pump room
Tossing unneeded items from the boiler room
Cleaning the gym gutters
Washing and cleaning the dumpster area
Replacing light bulbs
Organizing the garden shed
Weeding the garden area
Spreading hay in the front of the school
Disposing of pine cones
Trash pickup around the school
Filling in potholes on the street
Organizing the uniform closet
In accomplishing these tasks there are a number of materials that will be needed. Please bring them (labeled) if you are able:
-Ladders
-Wheelbarrows
-Gloves
-Asphalt (if you can buy some, please purchase Quikrete Commercial Grade Blacktop Repair)
