How have you been impacted by International Community School?

For many of our students and their families, ICS has been more than just a great education. Families from around the globe have found an inclusive and welcoming environment for learning and thriving.

For many of our teachers and staff, ICS is a place where they can invest in and positively impact the lives of their students. It provides a foundation for their professional development and growth, in an environment where they feel valued and their voices are heard.

For those who have experienced the impact or believe in the work we do, we invite you to donate this Giving Tuesday, November 28. This day is about embracing generosity and showing love and support for our incredible school community.

As a charter school, we rely on these donations to supplement funds received by the district to cover operating expenses, as well as to provide wraparound services and quality instruction to our students. In the past, individual donors have funded things like bus trips, classroom supplies, staff appreciation, and on-staff translators to name a few!

These funds bridge the gap between what the district allocates and what it costs to deliver a quality education targeted to the needs of our refugee, immigrant, and local students.

"We will surely get to our destination if we join hands."

This year, we are dreaming big! Our 2023-24 focus is “Dreaming and Discovering.” Teachers, staff, community stakeholders, parents, and especially students are all dreaming big dreams for our school and discovering what is possible.

One current, collective dream is expanding ICS, both physically and academically. We are bursting at the seams and in need of a larger space where we can grow and welcome even more families. We know this is possible if we all work together!

As a member of our beloved community, your support is critical! There are several ways you can participate on Giving Tuesday:

Your gift – no matter the amount – will make a difference and help us bring our dreams to reality.

Thank you for being a part of our community and for helping us to dream, discover, and thrive at ICS!
