Supplies should be brought the first day or week of school to the homeroom teacher. Some supplies are specifically asked for Science class. It would be helpful if these can be set aside and marked. Language teachers have organized with the homeroom teacher when the lists were created, so they will distribute as planned after gathering supplies.

Notebooks, folders and such materials can be labeled, but not required. Pencils, crayons, erasers, etc. are used in the classroom as needed, so no need to be labeled.

If families are able to buy extra supplies, they will be appreciated, and can be placed in a container placed by the front door. They will be distributed to the class who has the need.

Please note that there will not be After School Program the first week of school. After School will start on Monday, August 15. More information during Orientation days.

 

Orientation Days: Thursday, August 4th for NEW families, 2:00pm

Friday, August 5th for RETURNING families, 2:00pm

 

Free and Reduced Meal Application: The application will become available online Monday, July 11. A new application for each household must be submitted each year thru DeKalb County School District. Find the application at https://freeandreducedmeals.com/lfserver/dekalb1617. A FLYER with more information is also available.

 

School Hours will be: 8:20am -3:15pm

On school days, ICS will be open 7:30am-6:00pm. Morning carpool runs 7:40-8:20. Students are late after carpool ends, and parents must escort students to the office.

Afternoon carpool runs 3:20-4:00. Students will not be released from the office between 2:30 and 4:00; parents must wait and utilize carpool.

There is an After School Program available (starting August 15) from 3:20-6:00 at a cost. Fees apply for all late pick-up.
