Competing among other DeKalb County Schools, our students leave with one 1st Place, and two 3rd Place medals, aside other deserving efforts. On Saturday, March 18, seven ICS students participated in the Fernbank Science Olympiad 2017.
Congratulations to all our students who represented us proudly: 3rd grader Sara Morley; 4th graders Sharika Awasthi, Daphne De Fransisco, Mary Shamon Alaya, Jordan Minor, Eric Herrera; and 5th grader Nahreen Shamon Alaya.
Nahreen placed first place in the “Disease Detectives” event
Eric and Jordan got third place in “Barge Building” event.
