October is National Bullying Prevention Month (Please see the list of school activities below). In conjunction with this national campaign, ICS is working diligently to reinforce the importance of practicing and engaging in safe and respectable behavior in our school. This month we are initiating a new school-wide program in which each grade level is able to earn no-uniform day on Fridays. The students are able to earn this privilege if, by the week’s end, their grade level has not received any incident reports. Incident reports are given in the incident of a violation of school rules such as fighting, teasing, etc.  Our goal with this program is to make our students more knowledgeable about how their behavior and choices affect others, and to strengthen their sense of community and collectivism in our school.

Please suimagespport us in our efforts to keep ICS a great place to work and play by talking to your child) about the importance of mindfulness, respect for both their peers and teachers, and safe-play practices within our school. Should you have any further questions or concerns, please see any member of the administrative team.
