Admissions

ICS is a tuition-free, public charter school.

Enrollment is awarded by lottery. Siblings of current ICS students will be given priority seating and applicants will be selected for the remaining seats.

(ICS has held its lottery for the 2014-2015 school year, and we are now accepting waiting list applications for kindergarten through 5th grade.)

Upon acceptance, the following documents have to be presented to be guaranteed a place in August: a copy of the birth certificate of I-94, current proof of residence in DeKalb County (utility bill, lease), the child's last report card, EIP/IEP records (if applicable).

For more information please contact the ICS Registrar at 404-499-8969 ext 11 or email registrar@intcomschool.org.

Students with a parent or guardian who is a member of the governing board or is a full-time teacher, professional, or other employee of the International Community School, also are eligible to attend.

A ten to one student/teacher
ratio and a commitment to individualized attention set
ICS apart from other
elementary schools.
